Dr. Khaled Abdel Ghaffar, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Health and Population, inaugurated the "Dental Implant Summit," held at Future University in Egypt (FUE) from February 20 to 22. The conference aims to explore the latest developments and innovations in the field of dental implants and brings together a distinguished group of scientists, experts, and specialists in this field.
In his opening speech, Dr. Khaled Abdel Ghaffar expressed his gratitude and appreciation for the kind invitation, noting his happiness in being among this distinguished group of experts and specialists in dental implants. He emphasized the importance of the event, which is dedicated to exploring the latest developments and innovations in the field, especially given the rapid advancements witnessed in this area over the past three decades, significantly improving patient care and quality of life.

Dr. Ebada Sarhan, President of Future University, welcomed the Minister and the attendees, emphasizing the significance of the event, which gathers dental implant experts from both within and outside Egypt. He explained that the university’s mission is to encourage scientific research, which directly contributes to achieving sustainable development, improving quality of life, and enhancing the knowledge economy. Dr. Sarhan also highlighted the importance of incorporating artificial intelligence technology into diagnostics and announced the establishment of the first center to implement this technology in collaboration with the Faculty of Computer Science and Information Technology at the university.
