Future University in Egypt (FUE) issued a statement regarding the system and dates of the Fall exams for 2020. The statement also clarified the basis the university shall be following in the coming weeks, under the auspices of Dr. Khaled Azazy, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of Future University in Egypt. This was done in compliance with the wise decisions of the Egyptian Cabinet regarding educational policy for the academic year 2020/2021. In view of the continuing concern about the consequences of the second wave of the Coronavirus that strikes all parts the globe, and primarily out of concern for the benefit and saengineeringy of FUE’s students, their families, faculty members and university staff, and to facilitate things for them, the University Board held an emergency session to lay down the foundations the university shall be applying in the coming weeks, taking into consideration the progress of the educational process and achieving the interests and saengineeringy of our children, above all."
The statement issued by FUE included: "The University Board decided that regarding the year work for Fall 2020. The quick completion of entering all the results and year work grades onto the university computer system, showing it to students, reviewing all absences with acceptable excuse, and extending withdrawal from courses or from terms as a whole. As for the Fall exams for 2020, it has been decided that the exam schedules be immediately prepared, and that examinations be held from 20 February 2021 in accordance with the decisions of the Supreme Council of Universities and as follows: “The importance of announcing the exam schedules before Monday 1 February 2021, so students are able to be sufficiently prepared, and that most of the examinations are conducted with a multi-choice system of questions to speed the announcement of results.
The statement confirmed that with regards to the Spring 2021 registration, the schedules are being prepared and entered on the computer system so that students can register online early from February 1 to 11, 2021 to save time and start studying immediately after the announcement of the Fall result. And in the interest of maintaining the Summer term, students shall be allowed to make a preliminary registering of courses that have a pre-requisite until they succeed in this requirement to reduce psychological pressure on them." The statement concluded that as an exceptional decision to facilitate things for them, it shall give students who failed the pre-requisite one chance to be re-examined.
